Hello there! I'm Arjun Lakshmi Narasimhan. I am a software engineer who loves exploring and learning new technologies and applying them to real-world problems.

I love building all sorts of cool software, from frontend interfaces based on React TypeScript to backend infrastructure built using Java. I have recently been exploring data science and building machine learning tools as well.

My passion for software development pushes me to explore and learn new technologies and put my skills to the test. I am always looking for new challenges and opportunities to grow as a developer and make an impact in the world through technology.

Amazon Stores

Software Development Engineer I

I was a Software Development Engineer I at Amazon Stores in the Tempe, Arizona. I worked on building and maintaining Seller Life Cycle Management and Inventory Trust tools specifically for fraud prevention.

I handled the quarantining and disposal of thousands of inventories owned by fraudulent sellers, saving Amazon millions of dollars in potential losses.

I built REST APIs and backend microservices using Java and Spring Boot and frontend interfaces for Amazon Seller Central using React TypeScript. I used data warehousing tools to run ETL jobs and analyze large datasets to identify fraudulent seller patterns. I lived and breathed AWS serverless technologies such as Lambda and ECS Fargate.
